What power rating should a home charging point have?
Most residential installations use a 7.4 kW (single-phase) or 11 kW (three-phase) charging point, depending on the power available at your meter and your vehicle's charging capacity.
How long does it take to charge an EV at home?
With a 7.4 kW charging point, a full charge usually takes a full night; with 11 kW, that time is cut by roughly a third.
Do you need a permit to install a charging point at home?
For a detached house, a simple declaration is usually enough; in a co-owned building, the property manager must be notified. We handle this paperwork for you.
