What's the difference between an air-to-water and an air-to-air heat pump?
Air-to-water heats your water circuit (radiators, underfloor heating, hot water) and replaces a boiler; air-to-air blows warm air directly into rooms, like a reversible air conditioner.
Does a heat pump still work in very cold weather?
Current models stay efficient down to -15°C to -20°C depending on the technology; an electric backup kicks in automatically during exceptional cold snaps.
Do you need to replace your radiators to install a heat pump?
Not necessarily: an air-to-water heat pump can often work with existing radiators if sizing and flow temperature are suitable — that's exactly what we check during the assessment.
