What's the difference between monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels?
Monocrystalline panels offer higher efficiency per m² and are today's standard for residential roofs; polycrystalline panels, cheaper, still make sense on large available surfaces.
How long do solar panels last?
Most manufacturers guarantee at least 80-85% output after 25 years. Real-world lifespan often exceeds 25-30 years with minimal maintenance.
Do you need a storage battery to make an installation worthwhile?
No: an installation without a battery is already worthwhile thanks to direct self-consumption and the value of surplus fed into the grid. A battery can still increase your self-consumption rate if that's your priority.
